What a nice way to spend a friday! I lost 5 dollars for a silly breakage of that dumb pipette during chemistry practical yesterday. It was so fragile!! I placed it on the bench so I can put in the pipette filler. I swear I only exert minimal pressure on that dumb thing! Then, CLANK!! The pipette was broken! Shock cannot express how I felt when that pipette broke! I was standing there, horrorstruck! I have done it a lot of times, why must it broke only then?! That was how my 5 dollars went into the drain! Then, wei neng still laughed at me! lol. No sympathy at all. I will laugh back at him if he ever ever breaks anything! haha.. Shui man also breaks something. Mr Tan told me to help her pay first and I had complied. Shui man also paid me back .... by giving me 10-cent coins. Hence, my wallet was heavier by the extra fifty 10-cent coin she gave me. In addition, my experiment that day was a total failure! The chemicals must be contaminated! I practically put in 50 ml of Q into it and it has yet to turn yellow! AHH!!

I went to have my blood sucked out yesterday to check for dengue. In exchange, I received 10 dollar ntuc voucher. Is it worth it? haha. The experience was not pleasant. Furthermore, our supplementary biology teacher had told my class about all the gruesome sucking blood experience he encountered before I went to suck out my blood. Thus, I went there with apprehension. My mum insisted I should go because dengue is now prevalent in Singapore. However, I think the real pull factor is the 10 dollar voucher we would receive for each of us.

The pain was immense! The needle piercing into my skin is like ten thousand knifes stabbing in. As my blood was being sucked out, I felt as if there was a giant sucking hole in my vein, sucking everything out. When the dunno-who pulled the needle out, I thought that my vein was also pulled out along with it. Then, the dunno-who put a cotton on my wound and pasted the plaster over it, leaving me with the horrible sensation that rocks and boulders were being placed there.

There, my encounter of sucking blood. haha. I did exaggerate but it was rather painful. It was worth it, though, I got my 10 dollar voucher. :)
